For the launch of the iPhone 11, we created a real-time content-generation tool based off the suspicion around the time 11:11.
As users typed in a wish, 4 words from their list would trigger animated “1”s that visualized each word. Once finished with their wish, a unique animation of their list would be generated specifically for them. We worked with Imposium to generate the hundreds of thousands of on demand pieces of content.
The animated 1s each needed to be unique. We wanted these videos to feel like a mixed-media collage, utilizing cel-animation, photo-real CG, and whacky designs. To achieve this, we assembled a global network of artists, briefed them on specific 1s, then let their imaginations run wild.
